Yes, I have started back to school, and you can see why I haven't written in a while. To be quite honest, I've been a veg on the couch all summer! You would too if you were preggers! I tried to get up a walk but it is too dang hot out there. Yes, I could have gone to the gym to use the treadmill, but that would mean getting out in the heat to my car, which is just too much to ask. :)
But now I have to get out and about (insert Canadian accent) in order to work and get paid. It's not too bad, it's just hard to wrap my brain around the fact that I just can't do everything I want to do. I tried bending down to pick something up the other day, and learned my lesson quick. I also found out that if I squat to pick something up it's near impossible to get back up without help! Help!
I'm tired of sitting in front of my computer all day, I must say. How do people do that in an office job? Huh, Ferrell? I'd go stir crazy. I already am, I'm afraid. See, the beginning of the year for me and my partner in reading Pam is pretty much slow. We can't see kids yet because they haven't been tested yet, and they need to get to know their teachers and classroom routines first. So basically we are sitting in our rooms, checking email that doesn't come all too often, organizing our rooms, and figuring out what needs to be done to make the year run smoothly. Yep. So for me, I sit and stare at my computer, check all of my email names, stare off into space hoping some amazing reminder will hit me. Which it does, invariably. It may take all day, but I will remember the things I need to do. At least today will be busy, I'm helping Pam get the 5th graders tested. Something to do.

Yes, I need to upload pics...
I know, I know. You want to see me in my big belly state. Well tough! Just kiddin'. I just haven't gotten around to taking any pictures. I know I am lazy, but what can I say? I'm enjoying my pregnant life!
So, here are my recent knitting projects that are (gasp!) completed:
Baby hat using pattern from Last-minute knitted gifts in Bernat cottontots yarn.
Baby hat using pattern from One skein wonders in classic elite yarns.
Burp cloth from Mason-Dixon knitting in Bernat cottontots.
wash cloth using lion brand organic cotton and free pattern.
Granny square baby blanket in pink and brown yarns from Vanna White's Lion brand yarn.
Pastel baby blanket using lion brand yarn.
Baby bonnet in same Vanna white yarn.
In progress:
Totally awesome sock from Knitty.com: Monkey! I love it so far! Socks can be so addictive, I'm already looking online for more patterns and yarn! It's so crazy, because I don't know when i will ever actually wear the sock! I don't want to mess them up! I still have 2 other pairs of socks unfinished! I'll get to them soon....yeah, right.
I'll upload pics of my projects soon: like this weekend!
My belly is getting so big, and man is Chloe kicking me! She seems to enjoy it. I love it. Except when I'm trying to sleep....

I am growing so much! I still feel great, though! Lot's of energy. Today I am going to check out the community water aerobics class, and this afternoon I will start pre-natal yoga at the NASA gym. Can't wait! I've even been walking too! I just can't sit still for too long...gotta keep movin'!
So, our aniversary is coming up this month (the 19th), and we are going to do something untraditional (in the traditional sense.). We are going to see Summer Movies!!! I know what you are thinking. Why not a ring, bracelet, or something of value? Well, we all know how expensive movies can be! We already started last week. We saw the new Pirates movie. Very good, I must say. Gotta love that Johnny! Tonight we are going to see either Knocked up (very appropriate, don't cha think?) or Ocean's 13. Plus, we are going to the Star Cinema Grill (my fav. place). Next up will be the Transformers movie. I'll keep you posted on my reviews. :)
I need to upload a pic of myself and my growin' belly! I'll do it soon. I just love my summer! I've already read 2 bluebonnet books, and am knitting baby hats. I'm so glad I got my knitting bug back!

Wiggle Worm
Well, I have a wiggle worm in my belly! No, I haven't felt him/her yet, but I went to my doctor's office for a check-up, and she had a hard time getting the heart beat! We were laughing! It was hard for me to hold it in! Every time she would hear a few beats, the baby would move to the other side! It was really funny! I can't wait to feel it!
School is almost over! Woo-hoo! I can't wait for the summer! Definitely not for the heat, but mostly for the freedom!!! I just want to read, sew (work on my quilt), and relax. Hopefully our A/C will be fixed soon. I know!!! It's not that bad, it gets pretty cool at night. It is just not so great when I get home.
Ferrell comes home today from yet another business trip. I miss him so much!! We are going to Dallas to visit with his brother (and Walter's new wife) this weekend. It will be a nice trip. Oh, and I bought a new journal so I can write down everything that is going on with the pregnancy. Oh, and another thing: I go in for an ultrasound in 3 weeks to find out the sex! Yay! I think it is a boy.

Crawfish and Music Festival in Spring!
Ferrell and I went to the Crawfish and Music festival last night in Old Town Spring. It was really fun. It reminded me of the old carnivals that used to travel to different towns. It was in a park, with straw and rocks laid down to keep the mud under control. I should NOT have worn my platform sandals, but hindsight, and all that. We left late because Ferrell really wanted to see his band The Burden Brothers. We saw them a year or two ago, and he jumped at the chance to see them for $10. They played a mean set. It started at 11, and ended at 12:30! Yes, I was quite tired. Thank God they had chairs. I could see pretty well from where I sat, so it was good. I actually had a better time watching all the drunk WT's. I saw two guys come to blows before the mounted policeman sauntered over to break it up. Then, some old man spit beer at the band, and the guitarist got so pissed he started yelling at the guy! I love the drama! Plus, I was far from it :). I had my staple carnival food: funnel cake! Ferrell had boudin balls and well, let's not discuss the after effects....
Overall, it was a fun weekend. My old friend Vickie from Amsterdam (and soon from Switzerland) is on her way over with her baby Wyatt. Can't wait to see them!

Second Trimester, here I come!
Okay, so I finally made it through the first Tri. Luckily, I didn't get sick! But I was really sleepy. Now, my belly sticks out! People are noticing now! My belly "popped" last weekend when I was in Austin for a conference. I was just thinking to myself "Man, my belly sure is harder today." Interesting...but true. It feels like a rock! So, now I officially have to keep my pants unbuttoned all day! I borrowed some maternity clothes from my friend Natasha, so I am set. I also bought some things at the outlet mall on the way to Austin. I had no idea the Gap had maternity clothes!
So, life is good. I'm very happy! And most important of all.....the school year is almost over! Countdown...18 more days!!! Woo-Hoo!

I'm Preggers!
Woo-hoo! I have been CRAZY busy since I found out! And I found out on my birthday!!! I am so excited! WE are so excited! Ferrell is convinced that it is a boy! I hope so too, either way I will be very happy. My first trimester has not been so bad. I'm in my 11th week! I have a pudge, but really I already had one before all this happened, it is just pushed more up and out! I haven't been sick, but I have been very tired. I don't even want to knit anymore!!!! NOOOOO!!! All I want to do is read, read, and sleep. My pants are getting tight! No!!!!
I have a doctor's visit this Monday, so I will have more info! I will hopefully hear the heartbeat!
More info when it happens!

My Birthday!
Well, I am now the big 3-0. I do feel older! Anyways, I have had a wonderful weekend, and today has been great so far. I got free coffee at Starbucks this morning! My friend Terri is so nice. I only get the cheap "regular" coffee, but it was nice of her to give it to me for free. My secret pal gave me a nice bouquet of flowers in a pretty birthday candle vase. It helped me get out of my funk of finding my valentine roses dead. Now my room smells nicer now. Not that i can smell anything at the moment...I don't know what is going on with my allergies, but I am having some reaction to something right now. The funny thing is, it is only happening on the right side of my face! My right eye and nose is running profusely! Not a nice sight to see, if you ask me. One of the first grade teachers gave me a paper birthday crown to wear. I love it! And Ferrell is bringing me lunch! Sushi! Yum!
We had a great time this weekend. I had all of my friends over on Saturday, and yesterday my families came over for dinner. Much fun was had. Fred loaned me his Wii for the week, and I've already beat his scores on Smooth Moves! Oops! I hope he won't be mad! Now I am into Zelda! Yeah!

I'm back...again
Yeah, I guess I'm just not all that great when it comes to blogging. I forget, and people yell at me. :)
So....right now I am at work, waiting for my next group when I decided to catch up with my blogging. Here goes nothin'....
I am currently well, not sick. Everyone has been sick so far here at school. All the kids have either thrown up, sneezed, coughed (without covering their mouths, not including the kid that threw up, he covered his mouth but it still landed on the floor), all in my very small closet-space of a room. Ferrell's sick though...
I picked up Courtney's baby blanket to finish, and then put it back down again to begin yet another project! I am knitting squares for Warm up America. Let's see if I actually finish and mail them off. I am knitting them in Caron Simply Soft neon colors. I really like them...I may keep it for myself....NO! I must do it for charity!!!
I am reading The Other Boylen Daughter...it is so awesome. What a page turner. I am reading it while I wait for You Suck to be available. More news on that when it happens...

Yay! I'm readin' again!
I get emails from the library of new books they've recieved, and I became interested in books from the author Christopher Moore. Yeah, I know, I'm a HUGE nerd if I get emails from the library, but really, books are expensive!!!
So, back to my story. Instead of reading his new book, I checked out his older book called Bloodsucking Fiends. Oh, man, It is hilarious! It's about a woman who gets bitten by a vampire in San Fran, and becomes one. Really, it is funny. I haven't been able to put it down all weekend.
I am resuming my sister's now late Christmas sock. I call it the Sesame Street sock because of the colors. When I finish, I'll post it. Whenever that will be. I joined a sock knit along on yahoo groups, and I am afraid it starts tomorrow. I'll just have to put Angie's sock aside....just kiddin'.You know me! I can do a million things at once!!!

Another lazy weekend
I love the weekends. Relaxing is my middle name right now.
Yesterday I finished my hat, I'll post pictures later. I also finished yet another wash cloth. I should put on my links list monthlydishcloths yahoo group. I love the knitting the monthly dishcloths (I like to call them washcloths b/c I don't use them for dish washing all the time. I enjoy my own dishwasher!). It is a fun project that goes by quickly. I picked up my cabled scarf and am trying to stay dedicated to it so I can finally finish it. It is so beautiful, I must say. It is just taking me FOREVER to finish. And the sad thing about it is that I am not even half way through and I started it last year. Really, a year to the month!
I spent the morning reading Eragon. I like it because I like the genre, but it really hasn't pulled me in completely yet. I don't really feel moved or excited about it. I think the characters are lacking something. But then again, the kid that wrote it was a kid...does that make sense? Anyway, I will finish it just to finish it and let you know what i think. My friend Courtney told me that the second book is much better, so I am looking forward to getting to it.
Well, today I plan to start up running/jogging/walking again, if I can get lazy Ferrell off his butt. Heehee!

It's been awhile....
Yes, it sure has. Lots have happened, or haven't happened, you pick. We didn't get to go to Denver for Christmas because of the dreaded blizzard, so we were the left-behinds. It ended up not being so bad, because everyday I either spent it with my sis, or with friends. Dave and Erica came down from Buffalo which was totally cool. Vickie came down with her new baby Wyatt (I missed Bill, he came and went rather quickly..). I also spent a day with Natasha and her baby Nolan. All these babies!!! Courtney and Fred visited also, and she's preggers with baby Grace.
It was a lot of fun chatting with everyone. So you can see how busy i've been!
So as far as my knitting has gone since my last blog, I've finished a few wash cloths, Ferrell's socks, one of Angie's socks, Bonnie's hat, and I think that is it. It sure took me forever though! Right now I am working on my own hat, and mom's retro apron. I am starting up a knitting group at LPE! One of our aides asked me how I made my pocket scarf, so I showed her how to do a basic one and she caught on so fast! She ended up teaching her friend and now they want to know mo
